As you continue to take precautions to stay healthy, make sure you’re prepared for the approaching flu season.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that almost everyone get a flu vaccine every year. To help, free flu shots are available to you and your dependents.
Your flu shot options
Here are ways you and your spouse, domestic partner, or children can get your free flu shot:
- Anthem members: Use your CVS prescription card to get a flu shot at any of 62,000 participating pharmacies in the CVS Caremark network. Call ahead to find out your pharmacy’s minimum age for kids’ shots.
- Kaiser members: Get a flu shot at any Kaiser flu shot clinic; visit kp.org/flu for locations and times.
- Not covered? Email the Benefits Help Desk, and request a flu shot voucher for yourself and your dependents. Take it to a pharmacy in the CVS Caremark network for your no-cost vaccine.
