After you enroll in benefit plans and PlanSource confirms your enrollment with the plan carriers, you’ll receive your ID and debit cards in the mail for the plans that issue them.
Debit cards
When you first enroll in the Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or in a Consumer Directed Health Plan with Health Savings Account (CDHP with HSA) through Anthem or Kaiser, Optum Financial will send you a payment card to use for eligible expenses.
If you re-enroll in an FSA or HSA, you continue using the same debit card. It has an expiration date; you’ll automatically be issued a new card before your current card’s expiration date.

ID cards
It’s a good idea to have your ID card with you when you receive care or services or when filling a prescription.
Not all carriers issue ID cards, but you will get cards if you’re covered by these carriers:
Anthem (medical coverage)
CVS Caremark (prescription drug coverage with Anthem medical coverage)
Kaiser Permanente (for both medical and prescription drug coverage)
Delta Dental (dental coverage)
ARAG (group legal plan)
ID cards are not issued for the vision plans. Providers in the VSP network use your Social Security number to determine your eligibility and plan benefits.
